A Very Vodeq New Year

Introducing MiniDelay

It’s been a hectic couple months over here at the Vodeq HQ, but with the Holiday season coming to a close, we thought it was the perfect time to release the open beta of our first plugin.

Developing this has been a rollercoaster ride, but with most of the coding-related quirks ironed out, I’m excited to see what kind of unique software plugins we’ll be able to roll out in the coming months!

Why choose Vodeq?

With hundreds of plugin manufacturers on the market, we know that choosing a little startup out of the midwest might not be on the top of everyone’s Christmas list. That’s why we wanted to make it easy – in addition to our suite of paid plugins, we’ll be rolling out an entire lineup of free offerings to give you a taste of what our products sound like.

Just looking for freebies? No problem. we’ve certainly spent enough time as broke college students to understand that sometimes the best things in life come free!

Why plugins?

As we alluded to in our previous blog post, our business has changed a lot over the last two years. As we move into a period of uncertainty, we made the tough call to devote most of our resources towards the software game. This allows us to cut out a lot of the supply chain issues we’ve been having, and plays very well to our strengths (Ronan over here moonlights as an algorithm developer).

That said, don’t worry too much about our Eurorack operations – while they aren’t at the forefront of our minds, we’re hoping that the software side of things opens up some of the budgetary constraints we’ve had when it comes to developing our lineup of hardware Eurorack modules!
