Download the Installer #
To install or update MiniDelay on MacOS, you’ll need to download the MiniDelay Installer. This can be downloaded from your account or directly from the MiniDelay Product Page.
Unzip the Installer #
Once you’ve downloaded the installer, navigate to the location of the downloaded file and unzip it using MacOS’s built in utility Archive Utility.
Run the Installer #
Double-click the unzipped Installer file (ending in .pkg) and follow the on-screen prompts to accept the license agreement.
Select Components #
On the installation type menu, you can customize your installation to install each of the main plugin types. From this menu, you can also select whether to install presets (not pictured).
- AAX: Used by Pro Tools
- AU (Audio Unit): Used by most MacOS programs, including Logic Pro X, GarageBand, MainStage, Digital Performer, PreSonus Studio One, Ableton Live, and more.
- VST3: Used by most manufacturers that do not support Audio Units, including Cubase and WaveLab.
Complete Installation #
Once you’ve completed installation, restart any digital audio workstations you’d like to use our plugins in by quitting them via the ‘Quit’ menu option (make sure to save your work prior to quitting).
